I enjoyed this a lot. There’s quite a few things on here I agree with you on

I absolutely hate Costco (it's literally a zoo of angry deal hunters) and taking photos (it feels as if the camera is capturing your soul).

Absolutely. I think I could write an essay solely on the anxiety of Costco (maybe I will)- even down to the fact that they treat you like a criminal as you exit the building to check your receipt on a purchase that you had to pay for a membership for to even enter the building!

We tend to go midday in the midweek, and it’s a collection of senior citizens who block off the aisles with their carts to have a social gathering with one another.

Okay, I’ll stop being cynical now 😂

I could list 100 reasons why I avoid Costco, here are just a few:

Parking lot worse than Disney

Door officers standing guard as if it were a maximum detention facility

Oversized shopping carts, perfect for ramming into each other

A labrynthian setup designed to make you spend $200 on snacks

Throngs of people, ready to pounce and judge because your kid had a meltdown after you denied him a 10 lb bar of chocolate

i love your unique voice and writing style. in fact, i've almost begun to adopt it.

All humor aside, this was a fun vignette. Your dad's musical choice sent me.

Uh facts?

1. I hate social media.

2. I never use the word hate unless it's critical, which is almost never.

3. I think photos in black and white make you look more mature or refined. It's kind of a lie, and lies are like little bitesize fictional stories partially based on true experiences and opinions which leads me to another fact which is I don't like to lie but I enjoy pushing the envelope pretty far liars are terrible terrible awful awful naughty little buggers which is something I don't want to be. A bugger. Buggers are the worst.

Thank you for this wonderful post, I feel like I know a lot more about you after reading this one post, as opposed to a bio that just shows how great we are 😂

You’ve inspired me to write a 50 things about me post next week. I’m so pleased to meet you, thanks for stumbling on my post and commenting! 🙏 🩵

Thank you for the support-

and to your comment about the UK Office vs the US- after watching the UK Office, things made more sense with the humour and how to approach it. 😂

I need to up my game that's for sure, yours was great! :-)

My pleasure.

Oh that's cool, you inspired me to watch the US Office, I stupidly refused to for so many years "as it won't be as funny" but I'm sure it is brilliant.

If you dive into the show , Season 4, episode 13 : “Dinner Party” will be the most cringe thing that you ever see 😂 - keep me updated 👍

“5. at this point (there’s no way to tell for certain) i’ve watched the series, The Office (US) all of the way through- well over 30 times. and i have no intent to slow down.”

Please tell me you’ve watched the UK version of The Office. 😂

Of course I have - it was the gateway drug! 😂

Oh good 😂 I joke with my colleagues that the UK version is better. It seems that the people around 30 prefer the US one but people 40 plus like me, prefer the UK one.
